Welcome to the home of the squealin pigs. A basic site for a band that has been belting out celtic rock songs for ten years now. In that time there has been many miles traveled, many boat trips, train trips and plane trips.Theres been joy, pain, breakdown,s and fame, good nights , bad nights and some really shit nights, Fall out, friendships and down right madness, good times, bad times, sorrow and sadness. Great players, late players and some really drunk players.Bash`s and crash`s, hospital dash`s. Good roads, bad roads,more tar in a fag, tricks played and traps laid anything for a slag .Good driving, bad driving, some fell asleep driving. Played Derry to Dublin, Cork to Down, theres not a county we havn,t been around.Glasgow to London, we even played Bahrain,JJ murphy,s gig drove us insane .San fran to Boston the tour Mc Hugh got lost on, New York to Florida and back again Ten years have gone past but we`ve had a blast, the road finally caught up, with us fast. Time to end this i,m running out of space, a squealin pig`s gig is the place for your face.

Squealin pigs (unplugged)

Since the band returned from The U.S.A ,which at the time coincided with a down turn in fortunes for live bands and a lack of work or venues, the Squealin pigs (unplugged) which is a 2/3 piece version of the band have been playing on a regular basis around the country. The band features all the songs associated with the 6 piece it,s just not as noisy.So for any pigs fans out their having withdrawal symptoms check out the squealin pig,s gig guide and come along and have a listen. The pigs unplugged feature Joe (guitarist with the band) and Micky (the original drummer with the band) also on guitar, with Niall on Keyboards.

The band perform a wide range of music depending on the venue and what the venue require. The pigs unplugged are capable of performing a complete 2 hour Irish, standard or rock n, roll show.
