Micky from Derry City, has Been Playing Drums from age 11 and has been with the band since 1997. After years of playing in Rock/Pop showbands, he turned his attention to Irish Celtic Rock music in 1994 and formed his own band called "Against The Grain" which took up a weekly Tuesday night residency at Da Vinci`s in Derry. A few Months later the band were propelled into the limelight all over Ireland with their World Cup single "On The Ball" which acheived incredible chart success in June 1994. Since joining the Pigs in 1997 Micky has toured all over the UK Mainland, Europe, and the United States with the band playing thousands of gigs.

Over the Years Micky has played and toured with top bands such as "The Miami Showband", "Colm Hughes Band", "Somthin Else", "Dana"
"Them", "Jimmy Hendry Band", "Gary Mc Evoy and Philomena Begley", "Nightheat", "Johnny Quigley Band" and Jayah.
