IMPORTANT NEWS ON WEDDING INQUIRES

Due to the band being in heavy demand for weddings, and a phenomenal amount of wedding inquiries resulting in provisional bookings, the band has decided that from Oct 1st 2008 a provisional booking will be held for 14 days from date of inquiry, a deposit must be paid to secure booking. The reason behind this decision is simple. The band has been holding bookings provisional ly for wedding parties and in most cases these  provisional bookings have been later confirmed, but in a small minority of cases some of the bookings where cancelled, resulting in other inquiries for the same date that we where holding a booking for being lost, and in particular another wedding party be disappointed that we couldn`t play there wedding, when in actual fact we could have.  The band is currently taking around 40 to 50 inquires a month and with a lot of those inquiries comes the problem that maybe two or more parties are looking for the band on the same date. From 1st October onward we will hold a booking for 14 days, then a deposit must be paid. In the case of two inquires for the same date coming in the first party will have preference to the date, but must secure it with a deposit immediately. We think this is the only fair way to deal with it.
